The crops
The lands where Mas Castells is located are agricultural.
The main crops grown here are hazelnuts, which take up the biggest part of the 30 hectares of land, and olives, from which oil is made and consumed everyday.
Actually, the owners sell all these products to anyone who stays in Mas Castells, and wants to enjoy natural food.
In another area of the farm, winter food is also grown, such as “calçots”, artichokes, two vegetables highly-valued in all the markets in Tarragona, as well as fine quality potatoes, which are also present in the fields.
